It began with an observation:Technology can do more than ever.As some technologies advance, we don't always advance with them.Progress is not always improvement. Sometimes it comes at a human cost.Something feels off.Here, we feel this as Net Negative Progress.The future does not have to be a series of trade offs:One where convenience doesn't have to mean compromise.One where connectivity doesn't have to mean distraction.One where technology gives us more agency, not less.Perhaps there is another path.One where progress is measured not only by what technology can do, but by what it helps people become.What they aspire to be.We're building The Audiophone, a smartphone, to explore that possibility.To rethink and rebalance our relationship with technology where that tension is felt most.
